How would you describe yourself?
I’m outgoing when I’m around friends, but kind of timid around new people. I consider myself an introvert, but no one believes me.
How long have you been involved in your business?
I signed up for Posh in April, 2012. I was on my way to a promotion in less than three weeks! I have been in direct sales with another company (which I still am actively selling) for about three years.
Why did you choose your particular business?
I chose Posh for a few reasons. I wanted to make a little extra money, of course, but I also LOVE that their products are so pure. And, I have to admit, I was SUPER excited that there were only FOUR consultants in my entire demographic!
What keeps you motivated?
Watching people get excited about Posh, and wanting to have super parties or wanting to sign up! It keeps me motivated to reach my goals and to help others to reach theirs.
Tell us a little about your family.
It’s just me, my hubby (lovingly known as ‘the Sarge’) and our little baby Gracie (she’s a furbaby!)
How do you prioritize family and your business?
Being a housewife is one of my personal priorities. I will not do anything for the business that I won’t do for God or for my husband, which includes the amount of time I invest. I have a schedule and I make specific times to work on business stuff while taking care of the house. I also share my calendar with my husband so he’ll know when I’ll be out for a party.
How do you relax?
With a Bombinator and a good book! And, of course, SLEEP!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I will have completed my Masters degree in Educational Leadership (Lord willing), and I honestly hope I have a gnarly Posh team that I’m motivating and loving!
Biggest life lesson learned?
Weeping may endure for a night, but there is rejoicing in the morning! (Psalms 30:5)
What is your secret to success?
I’ll let you know when I find out!
All Entrepreneurs encounter bad days. How do you handle yours?
I remind myself that EVERYTHING in my life has happened in small steps that seemed misguided at times. But weeping may endure through this evening, but…. Well, I think you get it!
What was your sweetest success story?
I set a goal for myself to have two parties in my first three weeks to reach a $1000 sales goal in my first three weeks. Guess who’s awesome?
